In the second hour, hosts Heather Karrow and Fr. Mark Lichter began by talking with Anthony DiCarlo about how physics ties together with Holy Communion. It was then time for our 10-Minute Tour of local events. Bishop John Quinn of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester was with us to offer his insights on the Lenten season and share some ideas for how we can grow in our relationship with Christ. Finally, Thomas Eskro from Sacred Heart Parish in Aberdeen, SD taught us about the principle of proximity and how being aware of it is helpful to us and the Church.

In the first hour, hosts Heather Karrow and Fr. Mark Lichter began by visiting with Fr. Chuck Cimpl of the Diocese of Sioux Falls about an upcoming parish mission at his church and why he believes the time spent organizing parish missions in general is well worth it. It was then time for our Straight Talk call-in segment, where listeners had a chance to ask Fr. Mark questions. This show's topics included: where the teaching on the guardian angels came from, what the best way is to prepare for a first confession of you're a Protestant going through RCIA, what Jesus means when He speaks about drinking new wine in the Kingdom, how we know God loves us, and if exorcisms happen in our area.

In the second hour, host Fr. Jason Lefor joined Sr. Mary Immaculata of the School Sisters of Christ the King from Lincoln, NE to talk about the joy and vocation of being a woman. It was then time for our 10-Minute Tour of local events. Jan Feterl of Catholic Family Services of Eastern South Dakota shared details about this year's Gift of Hope event. Finally, Principal Christopher Smith from Holy Spirit School in Rochester, MN talked about the things he and his staff are doing to create a community of prayer within themselves, the students, and the whole Rochester Catholic Schools System.

It was then time for your questions during our Straight Talk call-in segment. Listeners asked questions on topics including: if you can have a traditional funeral Mass with cremated remains present, how it came to be that there are five precepts of the Church, and how you find a balance between using a Catholic news source to stay informed and dealing with the lack of transparency in the Church about the homosexuality crisis.

In the second hour, host Tim Mosser joined Chris Dodson of the North Dakota Catholic Conference to talk about what has happened so far in this legislative session and what North Dakotans should be watching for when it comes to taking action on future bills. It was then time for our 10-Minute Tour of local events. Jennifer Henderson shared her experience with homeschooling and why it's the right choice for her family. Finally, Patti Armstrong and Meikel Engelhardt spoke about a simple way for ladies in our listening area to prepare for the Lenten journey.
